Our Mission

Holy Family is a Catholic school that serves children in grades Pre-K3 – 8th primarily from rural areas of North Mississippi. We are dedicated to assisting students fulfill their spiritual, intellectual, social, and physical potential. To this end, we provide an environment which encourages students to become knowledgeable, disciplined, creative individuals prepared to make responsible choices as contributing members of society.

The mission of Holy Family School is to provide a holistic, Catholic education for children and to empower them to become confident, self-motivated, creative learners prepared to live worthy lives for the good of themselves, the community, and the world.

Accreditation

Holy Family School is accredited by the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools and COGNIA. The school is also a member of the National Catholic Education Association.

MAIS, Midsouth Association Independent Schools, is a consortium of independent schools across Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, and Arkansas. MAIS provides rigorous academic programs designed to challenge and inspire, but also help students discover and develop their passion.

 

Cognia is a nonprofit organization that provides a globally recognized quality assurance process for schools and school systems. To be accredited by Cognia means rigorous standards for teaching, learning and continuous self-improvement are met. 

NCEA, National Catholic Educational Association, is the largest private professional education association in the world. They work with Catholic educators to support ongoing faith formation and the teaching mission of the Catholic Church.
